My 3.5 year old is really getting in to holidays now. He loves knowing when we are celebrating on a special day and what special activities there are. My toddler sees his big brother’s excitement and wants to participate as well. Both of my boys are extra excited if there are treats involved!
I wasn’t sure how to explain St Patricks Day to him so I decided to check out Amazon for some books we could read together. I found 7 that I know my preschooler and my toddler would LOVE, but I’m trying to narrow it down to 2-3 to buy. Maybe we’ll buy the rest next year!

This book looks like it would be a great tool to introduce the sneakiness of Leprechauns to my little guys. It comes in hardcover, paperback, and its on Audible!

This is a board book about a little Leprechaun who hunts for a four leaf clover. His forest friends help him in his search. Both of my boys love board books, and its a quick story which is especially good for my short-attention span toddler! You can preview the whole book on Amazon!

This book immediately caught my eye because of the play on the classic Christmas story. You can preview this book on Amazon as well. Much like how ’Twas the Night Before Christmas tells of the magic of Christmas Eve, this book shows the magic and wonder that the Leprechauns bring on St Patricks Day.

This book is cute and creative. It has lots of cute characters I know my boys would love to point to while we read. You can preview the beginning of the story on Amazon. It definitely doesn’t give away the story, but I’m sure it has a really cute ending about luck. I bet this book would be a great way to explain these concepts to my preschooler!

Here is a non-Leprechaun book about luck. It looks like a really sweet story! My boys love pigs and foxes so I’m sure this one would be a hit with them!

This book has a bit more of a complex story than the others it seems. But it’s still a cute book and I know both of my boys would love it!
